Project Graduation
On the night of graduation, the Watertown High School PTO hosts Project Graduation, a free all-night party in the school for the graduates of 2023. By taking part in this project, our graduates are kept free from the intentional or unintentional use of alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs and are shown that it is possible to enjoy a memorable celebration without the use of any drugs. Project Graduation is held at WHS and starts at 9:30PM and ends at 5:00AM. Students are locked into the school and must stay for the entire time. Permission slips were mailed home and need to be turned by June 14th to participate.
This night is filled with a hypnotist show, characterist, swimming, music, a henna artist, snacks, and fun activities to do with the rest of the senior class. All of the students get a T-Shirt that is signed by their whole senior class and the food gets donated from local businesses. In the morning the graduates are offered breakfast when they leave. The WHS PTO wants to thank all of the local businesses who donated to make this night special for the graduates of 2023.
