The Junior Student of the Month for April is Devin Rinaldi! Devin was highly shocked to find out that he got student of the month, as he did not think he would ever earn this award. Devin believes he got student of the month “because of [his] hard work and dedication in [his] forensics class,” and it shows he has done “exceptionally well” as a student this year.
Devin has grown as a student by learning new ideas and concepts that have helped him grow as a person as well. His struggles in school are remembering certain information, but mainly in math. After high school, Devin wants to either become a history teacher or join the military, as “at the end of the day [he] wants to do something fun and fulfilling” with his life. He is inspired by his father and his brother, as they influence him to be a good person and parent in the future. The quote, “Honor is that which no man can give and none can take away. Honor is a man’s gift to himself,” by Robert Roy MacGregor motivates Devin as honor is very important to him. Devin’s advice to anyone looking to be a student of the month in the future is to work the best that you can “by not settling for the bare minimum, and not to make teachers’ lives more stressful.”
