On October 2nd, the Swift Middle School 8th graders were welcomed to Watertown High School with an introduction to the school, at the 8th grade Pump it up Day! An assortment of students and teachers presented the different courses, clubs, and sports students could participate in next year and students finished with a tour around the hallways of WHS!
Upon arrival, the 8th graders were greeted at the auditorium doors and seated by the current students, then given a performance from the WHS Cheerleaders, who gave an excellent show for the middle schoolers. The students and teachers of the school talked about the different courses and activities they’ve participated in and why they enjoyed those courses and extracurriculars in the assembly. The students ended off the assembly with the sports teams’ throwing out WHS merch to the 8th graders and then with a tour around the high school while classes were in session.
