The Junior Student of the Month is Ruby Daddario. Ruby was surprised and very happy with the nomination. Mrs. Saucier nominated Ruby because of her hard work in yearbook class. She works hard on her spreads, as well as being extremely detailed, making sure everyone in the class gets a voice.
To Ruby, being chosen shows all her effort and shows that she’s “doing something good.” From freshman year to now Ruby has gotten better at school work, and completing it on time. Despite challenges Ruby faced such as not getting classes she wanted and not always getting the grades she wants, Ruby is persistent. When Ruby graduates she wants to feel accomplished leaving WHS, and then go to college somewhere in California.
Ruby looks up to her brother because he also struggled in school but was resilient and now is very accomplished, and is living a good life. Ruby is in many honor societies for different subjects, is involved in Best Buddies, as well as Unified Sports.
