Juliana Meglio is a junior at Watertown High School. She is involved in many clubs for the school, including Best Buddies, and the student council, and she is a 2025 class officer. She also takes pride in her academics and is in 2 AP classes this year. Her favorite (and best) subject is English, as she loves anything to do with reading and writing. 

Besides this, she is heavily involved in high school sports. She is on the Varsity Field hockey team and is the leading goal scorer with a total of 30 goals, this amount starting since her freshman year. She has a deep passion for the sport and is excited to see what will happen for the future of it. Along with field hockey, she is also a defenseman on the varsity lacrosse team. She has developed a love for this sport, as her freshman year was her first year ever playing. She has been double-rostered on both the JV and varsity teams and has learned so much. While these things are a big part of her life, there is more to her than this. 

Juliana has always been a big reader and has had a love for it since she was a little girl. She also has a love for writing poetry, articles, and reviews on anything! She is excited to see what this publishing class will lead to and hopes to be a benefit to the school’s newspaper.
