The March Freshman Student of the Month is Emma Iasevoli! It was a shock to Emma that she won, and she felt accomplished for earning this award. It shows how her teachers appreciate and respect her just as she does them. She expressed that she thought high school was going to be a bigger challenge than she’s experienced, saying, “everyone is so supportive, and nice to me.” She expressed that teachers and friends have always been there to help her with things in school. She also says that she uses Enrichment to talk to teachers and get help if needed.
Emma has grown to new levels she didn’t think she would ever accomplish. She said that the new workload has been difficult but she has navigated her way through. She expressed that she used to be afraid to ask questions and make mistakes but now she feels she’s gotten much better with asking questions while knowing her teachers can support her. Emma has goals and is a dedicated student and by her graduation she would like to be top ten of her class. Advice Emma follows to accomplish her goals, and to be Student of the Month is: respecting your peers and teachers will help you succeed in your high school journey.
