Starbucks Releases New Spicy Drinks for the Summer Season!

Starbucks+Releases+New+Spicy+Drinks+for+the+Summer+Season%21

Starbucks has just released their brand new refresher drink collection on April 16th to spice up this pre-summer season. They released their new Spicy Lemonade drinks with three tropical flavors: Spicy Strawberry, Spicy Pineapple, and Spicy Dragon Fruit, and as well as a spicy Cold Foam coffee drink to enjoy the rising temperature both from the sun and the spice! The new drinks can be ordered now at your local Starbucks, including our’s on Main Street in Watertown.

With the new release of the heated drinks, people’s opinions have gone wild! Multiple review websites have said the chili mixture of cayenne pepper, chili powder, paprika, and ancho chili powder is too overpowering for the bitterness of espresso.  A review from The Impulsive Buy of the new Spicy Cold Foam coffee drink shares an unsure opinion of the drink. The review praised the appearance and typical scent of the coffee, but it was drastically tempered when attempting to taste just the spicy foam, at first getting a sweet kick that then turned into tear-worthy spice. Others agree that the spice is beyond aggressive, but I disagree!

After trying the Spicy Strawberry Lemonade just recently, it was absolutely delicious! The heat had a perfect kick that the sourness of the lemonade and the spice of the chilis blended so well together that it felt like the best summer drink for the summer of 2024 season!
