The Girl’s Swimming and Diving team competed in their NVL meets on the week of October 30th, and they performed very well, winning medals throughout the meet. The Swim Team competed at Kennedy High School, and the Dive Team competed at Woodland High School. Both meets went great, and the girls showed improvement in their events. The 200 Medley Relay, the 200 Freestyle Relay, and the 400 Freestyle relay all took home medals! 

The Swim Team came together to cheer for each other, and the energy throughout the whole meet was high. Congratulations to Riley McDonnell and Gabby Esposito, who performed extremely well at diving NVL’s. Riley took home a bronze medal, after placing 3rd in the meet. Gabby Esposito placed 4th. It was a great season for both girls! 

On November 13th, Maggie Hines, Maura McDonnell, Emma Omeri, Ava Kyle, and Elena Welcome competed in the swimming State Finals. Congratulations to Elena Welcome who received two best times in her individual events, the 200 and 500 freestyle. This was a great end to the girl’s season!
