On November 26th, members of the World Language Honor Society (WLHS) visited the Greater Waterbury Interfaith Ministries, (GWIM) Inc – Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry in Waterbury to make, pass out food, and help the community access food for Thanksgiving. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and hot lunches were made by the staff and students. Outside, students were unloading truckloads of turkeys for families. Inside the building, a room was open for the community to “grocery shop” and select food to take home. Thank you to the GWIM and WLHS for serving food to the community and making everyone’s stomach full for Thanksgiving!
