Meet Grace Donahue, the Freshman Student of the Month for March! Grace was nominated for this award by Mr. Cerrato because, “[she] always completes assignments, works hard, loves learning, and helps others.” Grace feels very happy to receive this award because it is such a great honor to be chosen. She makes it a priority to work hard each day and help others in her class.
Grace has had a very smooth transition from middle to high school, and she enjoys the opportunities and freedom WHS provides. She especially enjoys getting to choose the classes she takes each year. Her favorite class this year is English, because it allows her to be creative while working.
Grace hopes to accomplish earning good grades for the rest of this school year, as well as getting involved in more extracurriculars such as clubs and sports. To do so, she surrounds herself with people who lift her up and motivate her to do her work. Grace hopes to enter the medical field one day as a Nurse Practitioner. Congratulations to Grace for working hard and receiving this award!
