Watertown High School welcomes a new permanent addition to the Science Department. Dr. Keogh spent last year as a long-term sub. After six years at UConn, she discovered her passion for teaching; she originally studied pharmacology. After working with patients, teaching came naturally to her. She loves the Watertown community and says high school is where she “truly belongs.”
In her biology classes, she especially enjoys teaching both evolution and genetics and encourages students to “engage in science all around you.” Outside the classroom, she loves drawing, appreciates Nature, and hopes to get back into rock climbing. Her favorite movie is Jurassic Park. Looking ahead, she sees herself continuing to teach here for many years to come.
