On Monday, November 18th, Student Council hosted a Spirit Week leading up to the Homecoming dance, which was held on November 21st. Each day, students, staff, and faculty dressed up according to the day’s theme to show their school spirit. The week was filled with high energy and Warrior Pride, as the school came together as one! There were 5 different themes for each day.
On Monday, the theme was the “USA Day” where students, staff and faculty members showed off their patriotism. On Tuesday, the theme was “Greek Life” where everyone wore their best greek attire. This could have consisted of a Fraternity theme, Sorority theme, Greek Mythology, or Greek Goddesses. Wednesday was “Color Wars” where each grade wore their class colors in support of the pep rally. The pep rally was filled with fun, engaging activities held in the gym, where each grade selects students to participate in the games. The WHS Band and Choir performed at the pep rally as well. The Senior Class of 2025 swept the competition, and won every single event. Thursday’s theme was “Warrior Pride” where students and staff showed off their Warrior Pride by wearing black, orange or school-related attire. To finish off the week, Friday, November 22nd was “Future Friday” where students, staff and faculty were encouraged to wear something that showed off their future plans, or something futuristic! Spirit week and the pep rally were huge successes and were a great way to bring the school together to have some fun!
