Watertown High School recently hosted its first virtual Post-Secondary Night for seniors and their families, led by guidance counselor Mrs. Bates. The presentation focused on planning for life after high school, with an emphasis on college applications and preparing for four-year schools, though other options like the military, gap years, and trade programs were also mentioned. Mrs. Bates highlighted the importance of starting early, staying organized, and recognizing that planning for the future is a gradual process. The decision to host the event online made the event easy for families to attend, and a recording and slideshow are available in the senior Google Classroom for anyone who missed it. Mrs. Bates encourages all seniors to reach out to their school counselors for guidance and support throughout the process.
