Watertown High School’s National Honor Society held its annual Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 18th, for the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross is an association that gives food, shelter, supplies, emotional support, and blood to those in need after a disaster. Faculty and students who were at least sixteen years old signed up to give one pint of blood which helps to save approximately three lives. Watertown High School’s students and staff donated 57 pints of blood this 2025 school year!

Veronica Rainone, Writing Editor
Veronica Rainone is a Junior at Watertown High School. She is in her second year writing for the school newspaper in Publishing class. She enjoys interviewing different people for her articles and writing various articles – allowing her to work well on the team. For almost 14 years, Veronica has danced as a hobby and has plans to carry the activity into a career as a Street Dance Choreographer. As it has been her second year of writing for the newspaper, she’s been given the role of Writing Editor. She guides new students in composing their articles and gives them any extra help that they need.
