The Theater Department is thrilled to announce its upcoming productions for the 2025–2026 season, beginning with an adaptation of The Truman Show this fall. Rewritten and directed by senior Kiley Pienczykowski, the play offers a fresh theatrical take on the iconic story of Truman Burbank, a man unknowingly living in a fabricated world. Aiden Poley stars as Truman, with Delilah Vaina as his picture-perfect wife Meryl, and Micheal Mitchell as Christof, the mastermind behind the scenes. The production features original music composed and arranged by Ava Stango for a student-only pit ensemble, adding a unique musical layer to the show. Behind the scenes, stagecrew managers, Sara Dishnica, Eleanor Makarewicz, and sound manager, Juliette Monlina, are working hard to bring the technical elements to life. The Truman Show will be on November 13th, 14th, 15th, at 7PM and 15th at 2PM in the WHS Auditorium. Tickets will be available online and in person a couple weeks before the performance.
In the spring, the department will present Sister Act, the high-energy musical based on the beloved 1992 film. The show will be directed by Foster Reese. Auditions are coming soon, and students are encouraged to get involved in what promises to be a joyful, soulful production. With two exciting shows on the horizon, this season is a celebration of student creativity, collaboration, and theatrical excellence.
