For the 2026 school year, new staff were introduced to Watertown High School, including Mr. Hodorski, one of the new CTE teachers. From previously teaching Computers at Swift Middle School, he spends his sixth year at the high school. Now that he’s here, he hopes to give students more opportunities in the CTE department.
He’s teaching not only Woodworking for Wildlife, a new addition to the Program of Studies, but also classes such as Exploring Technology, Video Production 1, and Video Game Design. He aims to provide opportunities to students, including working in the woodshop, 3D design, coding, and more. In addition, he hopes the opportunities he gives are positive experiences for both students and staff.
Apart from being a teacher, Mr. Hodorski is also an adventurer, finding a bigger preference for the outdoors, rather than the indoors. He hikes, fishes, and occasionally makes maple syrup. He went to the University of Rhode Island for his undergrad and earned a Bachelor’s in English and History. He went on to earn a Master’s in Education at the University of Bridgeport, and a second Master’s in Educational Leadership from Sacred Heart University. If he weren’t to pursue teaching, he would have been a carpenter.
