The Class of 2026 Senior Picnic was held on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, at Holiday Hill in Prospect. Students departed from WHS at 8:30AM and returned around 5:00PM. There was a wide variety of food available throughout the day, including burgers, hot dogs, tacos, clam chowder, popcorn, ice cream, and Holiday Hill’s popular fries with cheese sauce. Students had access to unlimited food during the event. There were also events like rock climbing, kayaking, sports, laser tag and access to the pool. Overall it was a fun and eventful day for all who attended! Thank you to the Advisors for all the hard work setting up this special day for the seniors!

Emma Gorman is a Watertown High School senior who enjoys publishing for both the photographic and the writing aspect. Her favorite articles to write are Student of the Month features and senior-related content. This is her second year in Publishing, and she wishes that she had joined sooner. Emma designed the new Warrior’s Wire display in the front of the school as her Capstone project. Outside of school, Emma enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music, and lounging on the beach. She plans on majoring in Marketing with a minor in Communications at the University of Rhode Island this fall! Emma plans to pursue marketing with a focus on social media and advertising.
