Spirit Week is an annual event planned by the Student Council during Homecoming week at WHS, and students engage in it every November. Students can participate in a fun theme each day this week to help build excitement for Homecoming throughout the school. Class colors are always the repeating theme on Wednesday of that week, followed by a School Pep Rally: Freshmen are dressed in blue, Sophomores in green, Juniors in red, and Seniors in orange. On this day, the students compete in class games against students in other grades at the gym. To win and earn points, it’s a fantastic method to get students involved with other students in their grade. Students are encouraged to wear WHS colors on Friday to show support for the school and it’s a great way to end the week.

This year’s themes are

11/13 Tropical Vacay Vs Winter Wonderland. Dress for extremes of weather

11/14 Jersey vs Jersey. Wear a Jersey or show off your Jersey style

11/15 Class colors

11/16 Throwback Thursday Represent your favorite decade
