Watertown High School recently held a school-wide T-shirt design contest, and junior Sami Sejdarasi was crowned this year’s winner. The contest was open to students who wanted to show off their creativity and Warrior pride, and as a result several designs were submitted before the deadline. The winning design will be printed on official school T-shirts, which are available for purchase so students can show off their school spirit throughout the year. Students can find the link to order in their school email; all order payments were to be submitted by Friday, December 5th.
Sami created the design using skills learned in Graphics 3 ECE, relying on programs such as Photoshop and focusing on themes that represented Warrior spirit. “I thought of powerful words that represented what it means to be a Warrior,” explained Sami. Sami decided to join the contest to challenge himself at a more competitive level. Sami’s win is a great representation of student creativity at Watertown High School.
