WHS Class Advisors hosted Spirit Week, the week of November 17th , where staff and students dressed up in different themes each day to show school spirit. The week started off with “Adam Sandler day.” Students and Staff members were encouraged to wear baggy, comfortable, unmatched clothing to represent his sense of fashion.
Tuesday was “Retro Vs. Future” , showing off the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s style versus the “future”, where students could wear metallic and neon colors.
Wednesday was “Rhyme Without Reason.” Students can dress up with another person to create a random and funny rhyme. The most popular rhyme was someone dressed up as a rapper and the other as a napper. Thursday was marked for the WHS Pep Rally and “Color Wars.” Each grade level wore a different color; freshmen wore green, sophomores wore red, juniors wore blue, and the seniors wore orange to represent our school colors. Finally, Friday was Warriors pride. To show school spirit, the entire school was encouraged to wear orange, black and white. The Pep rally brought the school spirit to all students at WHS by bringing everyone together for fun activities and energetic performances.
