On Friday, December 12th, students and staff had the opportunity to wear their pajamas to school for PJ Day, hosted by the National Technical Honor Society. PJ Day raised funds and awareness for the Connecticut Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders. The idea behind this event is to spread awareness for the kids who have cancer and spend long periods of time in their PJ’s undergoing treatment. They are missing their families, friends, school, sports and more. Watertown joined in with 169 other towns in this event that is raising spirits and funds for the Connecticut Children’s Foundation, while also giving hope for these kids!
