The Watertown Parks and Recreation Department, and the Watertown Fire Department are hosting Santa’s Holiday Light Parade, on Friday, November 29th, starting at 4:45 PM on Main Street at the Watertown Fire Department. The parade will be full of exciting events, including the official tree lighting, desserts and hot cocoa, and decorating the tree with homemade ornaments from the Watertown community. There will also be a Santa Clause and The Grinch meet-and-greet for everyone! The times are: 4:45 PM at the Watertown Fire Department, 5 PM at the Watertown Gazebo, 5:30 PM the tree lighting – but be sure to be around for other events happening! Don’t be a grinch and come to the parade to celebrate the start of Watertown’s holiday season!

Veronica Rainone is a Junior at Watertown High School. She is in her second year writing for the school newspaper in Publishing class. She enjoys interviewing different people for her articles and writing various articles – allowing her to work well on the team. For almost 14 years, Veronica has danced as a hobby and has plans to carry the activity into a career as a Street Dance Choreographer. As it has been her second year of writing for the newspaper, she's been given the role of Writing Editor.
