On Thursday, June 4th, the WHS class of 2026 celebrated their final weeks of school by attending Senior Sunset, and yearbook signing night on the high school field.
Students received their class yearbooks and then got the opportunity to socialize while enjoying the sunset. This event, which has become tradition, signifies the end of high school careers, completing the cycle after this year’s senior sunrise, back in early September.
This year, class officers worked to orchestrate food, activities, and an overall fun night to celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s graduates. Senior class officer Giana Lauer contends, “Senior Sunset resembles our last act of service as class officers, and hope to provide the class of 2026 one last opportunity to surround themselves with their friends and peers on school grounds.”
In addition, the yearbook class is excited to present their book, which they began working on in September. Member of yearbook class, Olivia Guerrera, notes, “The yearbook staff is thrilled to finally share what we have been working hard on all year. Seniors should look forward to the big reveal and to enjoy a night with their friends creating memories!”
