Lola Gaudino, Senior Staff Reporter
Lola Gaudino, a Watertown High School senior, is embarking on her first year of Publishing. However, she has participated in numerous ECE classes, taking Marketing 1 and 2, Graphics 2, and Yearbook. She has also demonstrated an interest in journalistic writing. Lola is dedicated to being a well-rounded student, while participating in numerous clubs. For example, she participated in Book Club, is a Unified sports captain, and is a Best Buddies Officer. She is a Co-president in the World Language Honor Society, Lead Commissioner for Link Crew, a National Honor Society Officer, and a member of both the science and math honor societies.
Lola is a captain of both the WHS Volleyball team, her club team, Northwest Juniors, and is a four-year varsity lacrosse player. Additionally, she has elapsed over 600 hours of community service as a youth cheerleading coach. Likewise, Lola was awarded the Western New England Book Award for her community service. Lola has been recognized as a College Board National Recognition Awardee, an AP Scholar with honors and has received the National Hispanic Educational Excellence Award.
Outside of school, Lola enjoys writing songs and participating in escape rooms. She wishes to complete an escape room in every U.S state. In addition, she is an avid sports fan and an advocate for women in sports. Her favorite time of year is during the playoff baseball season, and March Madness. In the future, she hopes to pursue a program in sports media and journalism.
