On November 5th, the Watertown Field Hockey team traveled to Madison, CT, to face Daniel Hand High School for the first round of the Class S State Playoffs. Daniel Hand is the number 1 team in Class S, and the girls were the last team: number 16. The team was prepared to go into a tough game, ready for anything. Being the underdog, the girls fought hard against Daniel Hand. they did not let up any goals up until the 3rd quarter, making the score 1-0. Entering the final quarter, the team put everything they had left onto the field, but unfortunately was the end of their season. The girls fought hard, and are looking forward to their end of season banquet on November 14th.
