Watertown is getting ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a full schedule of fun events happening. Local residents come out wearing green and spending time with friends and family. Downtown Watertown gets active and full of energy to prepare for the upcoming race during the celebration. The day begins with the Run for the Gold 5K, where people of all ages can run or walk with the race beginning at Presbyterian Church of Watertown. Later, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade proceeds in Downtown Watertown located on Main St. Local schools, clubs, and community groups march with music and colorful floats. Members line the sidewalks cheering, making it one of the most exciting events in Watertown.
