On Monday, January 12th, Link Crew held its annual Cocoa and Cramming, an after-school activity meant to prepare freshmen for midterm exams. Freshmen met with Link Crew members to study courses such as Biology, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, English, or History. If there was no specific subject, students could still contact a senior for extra help. Alongside study time, cookies and fresh, hot chocolate was provided.
To set up this event, leaders and organizers divided into groups to teach specific subjects and then created their own lesson plans. Whether it was playing Jeopardy or using study guides, Link Crew members had a fun time revisiting subjects and helping freshmen feel more prepared.
