Breanna Smith is a sixteen-year-old high school student from Queens, New York. She currently resides in Watertown, Connecticut and attends Watertown High School. She has four brothers, making her the only daughter in her family. Breanna runs cross-country and track for the Watertown Warriors. In her free time, she loves to bake, crochet, and listen to a range of music. Likewise, she enjoys reading and is currently enjoying The Inheritance Game by Jennifer Lynn Barens. After she debuted in The Lion King on Broadway, she took an interest in reading science-fiction, thriller, horror, and mystery books. For additional fun, she practices cosmetology, especially nail art. She strives to work in the medical field after high school, specifically as a travel nurse or a sonographer. Breanna has been a prominent figure in helping younger students learn to read and write; from ages eight through fourteen she was a literacy coach. Breanna hopes to use the school newspaper to spread helpful information to not only WHS but also Watertown residents.
