The Junior Student of the Month was awarded to Jacob Bromley, who was shocked when he found out the news. He believes he earned this award “because [he’s] a hard worker.” He states he’s grown as a student by developing confidence, learning to be more independent, and becoming more mature as a person. At school, he faced a lot of personal challenges which he got past with his motto, “Don’t look back in the past.” His goals in high school are to become a better chef and perhaps go into the restaurant business. With some family in the food industry his future seems aligned quite well. His favorite school subjects however come from his interests in science, mainly Forensics, Horticulture, and Chemistry. Jacobs advice for any potential Students of the Month is “Work hard, don’t let tough things distract you, and keep going forward.”
