Noah Mitchell was awarded Sophomore Student of the Month for January. Nominated by Ms. Mckay for his incredible academic growth as well as successfully balancing playing sports, getting assignments done and doing well on his assessments. Noah’s modest reply when asked how he feels about his nomination,“I feel good about it, it shows that I can get things done when I put my mind to it.” Noah has a positive attitude towards school and plans for his future putting in the time and effort needed to achieve them. Noah enjoys participating in after school extracurriculars, football, basketball, and track, and may be interested in pursuing additional sports in the future. He enjoys working out as it helps him clear his mind and gets him ready and motivated for the next day’s challenges. He also enjoys playing video games and spending time with his close friends. Noah’s advice to anyone struggling with balancing life at home and at school, saying to “focus on the future and whatever you have planned for later on in life. Just focus on that, and it’ll help you get there and move on.” Noah’s plans for the future involve pursuing football, hopefully to reach the NFL, while also being able to support his family.
