Margaret Simonsen earned Freshman Student of the Month for January. Rewarded by Ms. Kuegler, by being fantastic in class, having excellent participation in discussions and group work and, by sharing many great ideas from other classes. Maggie’s humble response on how she felt on receiving her nomination, “I’m happy to be thought of as a good student.” Maggie always makes school work a priority and continues to put her work and classes first and enjoys engaging in her classes. Maggie enjoys participating in after school extracurriculars, lacrosse and soccer. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends along with reading. Maggie’s advice to anyone struggling to balance life at home and at school, “When things get overwhelming I try to focus on one thing at a time, do one thing to get motivated to do more.”
