Chase Gardino was chosen as the February Sophomore Student of the Month. He said, “it feels great that my hard work and dedication is acknowledged.” Chase was nominated by Ms. Cieslewski for his diligence and hard work. Ms. Cieslewski comments that “he demonstrated strong self-advocacy by asking thoughtful questions when he needs clarification.”
Woods is his favorite subject because he enjoys learning how to create and appreciates the hard work he must put in. His goal is to change school policy, whether it’s how the courtyard is used or how students spend their time. Chase’s advice for other students is, “Don’t get caught up in grading. Prioritize learning and understanding a subject as the grading scale does not cover all skills and abilities.”
