Watertown Baseball has anointed their new Baseball Coach for the upcoming season: Justin Guerrera. Guerrera has a very deep background in baseball, being a four year starter for Watertown and committing to play at Fairfield University before ultimately being drafted by the New York Mets in 2021. He ended his playing career with the Trenton Thunder in 2023, and he will now begin his coaching career this season.

“Watertown Baseball’s goal is to play as one team, one unit, and as one family. That was the culture we had when I was a player and we had a lot of success. I want the players to be able to check their egos at the door and buy into a ‘we before me’ mentality.” said Guerrera.“I took on this role because I had a great experience during my time here. I had a lot of great coaches that helped me play in college and professionally. I want to give what I’ve learned back to the next generation of ballplayers.” Best of luck to the Baseball team, and their growth over this new season.

Aside from Baseball, Watertown’s Spring Sports consist of Outdoor Track, Boys and Girls Tennis, Golf, Softball and Boys & Girls Lacrosse, which have all started their seasons.
