Sophomore Student of The Month

Sophomore+Student+of+The+Month

Mya Smith, Sophomore at WHS, has been awarded the Sophomore Student of the Month award. Receiving this news made her happy and made her feel important. She looks up to Mrs. Amos, a paraprofessional, because of her help and other teachers help for helping Mya improve in following directions.

Outside of academics, Mays belongs to Best Buddies and Unified Sports. One challenge she has in school is English class but she thrives in math. Mya’s advice for any one who wishes to become student of the month is to try your best.
