In November before Veteran’s Days, WHS Interact students set up a Field of Flags by the Watertown Green Gazebo, which is a program set up through the disabled Americans Veterans (DAV). Their Field of Flags empowers our community to set up fields of American flags, all to honor local veterans and raise critical funds to support our ill and injured heroes. Each flag honors a different hero. Behind each flag is a unique story, a story about courage and freedom. Happy Veteran’s Day and thank you to all who have and currently serve our country.
