The October Senior Student of the Month was Flori Hoxha. Nominated by, Art Teacher, Ms. Schlatter for his patience, being a good role model, and taking constructive criticism well. Flori says he feels honored and grateful to receive this award, and the recognition motivates him to keep working hard. As a senior, Flori is enjoying his final year of high school, reflecting on how much he has learned, the great people he has met, and how much he has grown as a student. His favorite part of high school has been building friendships and getting involved in different classes and activities, especially his favorite class, AP Calculus, which he enjoys thanks to both the subject and the engaging way it’s taught.
Outside the classroom, Flori is involved in Interact Club and multiple Honor Societies, staying active in the school community. This year, he hopes to continue improving academically, stay consistent with his work, and keep growing as a person. After graduation, Flori plans to attend college and work toward his long-term goals. He stays motivated by setting goals, sticking to a schedule, and reminding himself why his hard work matters. As he looks toward the end of senior year, his goals are to graduate with strong grades, remain involved, and be prepared for what comes next. Flori leaves fellow students with a message he lives by: “Success is built on consistency, not perfection.”
