Logan Marcella, earned the Freshman Student of the Month awarded for December.  Mrs .Brickel 

nominated him because he is “very involved in school and he is always kind and helpful to others.” He works

 hard, supports his classmates, and makes a positive difference in the school community. 

While reacting to his award, he said he felt honored to receive it. He enjoys “meeting new 

people” and “making new friends.” His favorite subject is science, and he likes learning how 

things work. 

Logan’s goal this year is to “pass all his classes” and “enjoy high school.” He believes that 

showing up every day and not giving up helped him win the award. His persistence and effort in 

getting to school and completing his classes was led to being  nominated for December Student of the 

Month. Logan also shared advice for other students completing for Student of the Month: “Believe in yourself, 

and you can do good things.”
