Giana Lauer is a Senior at Watertown High School. She is passionate about both providing for her community and journalism. Giana is active on campus as a four-year Class Officer, an inductee of both National Honor Society, and National Science Honor Society. Giana has been a dancer for fifteen years. She is currently on the varsity competition team at her dance studio Children’s Dance Workshop. She has received countless first place overalls and multiple championship awards with her dance team. She strives to improve as a dancer in hopes of making her senior season count. Outside of school and extracurriculars, Giana enjoys hanging out with her brothers, whether they’re going to McDonald’s or watching Batman for the millionth time. Giana also loves treating herself to Starbucks or a minor shopping spree every once in a while. She plans on attending University of Saint Joseph’s in Fall 2026 to major in English. She hopes to find a career that allows her to improve her writing.
